Eco surfboard made out of recycled beer cans

Nice things can be done when you are really passionate about something. Instead of putting to garbage something that everyone rejects, there is one artist that thought deeper about this and came with a nice idea.
The San Diego based artist Rich Morrison, helped by the surfboard maker Gary Seagraves and a local bar
that “sponsored” him with some cans, has created a functional surfboard. The new design was made out of 72 Boddington’s Pub Ale, Budweiser, Modelo, PBR, and Rolling Rock beer cans. There were all unified with a layer of resin that made this surfboard functional. Nice subject for talking about, after a long surf session. See the movie about how he succeed to do this here.
