When nature calls, a public toilet by Eddie Gandelman

Now this is a new way of thinking! Thanks to Eddie Gandelman and her design “When Nature Calls”, public toilets are becoming green: the projects has in view the fact that the urine contains a lot of phosphorus, substance that will be used as fertilizer.
The urine is first filtrated and used later for watering the plants. The project was approved by toxicology professors. Peeing, besides being a waste process becomes a nurturing one, which appears to be a great advantage here. This idea
will certainly make the very notion of urination a better experience. The urinals will be arranged in units of four and they will have 3 steps: first the urine is collected, then filtered and then distributed in a clean way to the plants.
