My grandma has a lot of jars. And I was always wondering how can I recycle jars and put them in better use? Here is the answer of my question: Adam Gerard from Brooklyn, NY, United States find a nice idea to recycle old jars. Apparently, there is no much trouble in making something like this at home: all you will need is to gather some old materials and here is the result: a nice shelf in your kitchen where you can store your forks or flowers if you want. I think the idea can be improved with some color added. Chateaugerard thought

of using sustainable and locally obtained materials to create each of these piece unique and made to order. Great for planting flowers or herbs, as a flower vase, and for kitchen or garage storage. A perfect gift for anyone. Another creative idea on how to reuse old jars comes from Marianne, from Grand Haven, MI., United States – who took this idea a bit further. See below her pasta storage ideas, inspired by some old jars “Each jar is painted, given a distressed finish, and sealed. The jars are not painted on the inside so you can fill with water if desired. Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.” See here all her ideas regarding recreating objects from glass bottles.
